STATEMENT

Ruochen Hu is a graduate student in productive for science popularization, Tsinghua University.Her works have won the 2022 Red Dot Award. She has a strong interest in the intersection of industrial design and information art design, and hopes to pass more knowledge to people through the method of popular product design.

Ruochen Hu received a bachelor’s degree in Produce design from Beijing Institute of Technology. She has won the first-class scholarship for four consecutive years.

RESEARCH

Through a large number of interviews, observations and model tests, she proposed solutions to the problem of Enteromorpha on the Shandong Peninsula and the design of products for underwater abandoned fishing nets. On this basis, she proposed ways of scientific popularization of this problem at the public level, and hopefully put into production, contributing to the protection of Marine resources.
