Design of Military Ice and Snow Training Device Based on VR Equipment

This work focuses on the development of a device for indoor skiing training for soldiers patrolling snowy mountain environments.

On the border of our country, it is covered by heavy snow, and the soldiers have to patrol in the snow. For the complex and changeable terrain and snow mountain environment, the soldiers need to master the skill of alpine skiing to patrol, and it is very difficult for some soldiers in the south. Snow is rare, and skiing is even more unfamiliar, so there is an urgent need for a device that can facilitate indoor skiing, where skiers can practice movements or try new technologies. Since ancient times, “ice play” has been a sport with a long tradition in China, and it continues to this day. At the same time, in 2022, the Winter Olympics will be officially held in Beijing, which also makes Beijing attract the attention of the world. “Focus on the Winter Olympics , Help ice and snow” has become a common vision.

This article analyzes the current situation of military training at home and abroad, compares the differences between Chinese and foreign equipment used in military training, studies and analyzes the actual situation of military ice and snow training, understands the key points of training in activities, focuses training on alpine skiing, and analyzes military The types of simulated training, interviewed ski team professionals in terms of training methods, gave guidance on training, and finally took the interaction between VR headsets and devices as the highlight of training design, making training more targeted and improving training efficiency.

The article will rely on the design practice of military ice and snow training, take military training as the demand, and refer to the design principles in game interaction, including interaction design, playability design, system design, art design, etc.; the man-machine environment analysis of VR equipment is carried out, Including virtual environment analysis, perception analysis in virtual environment, and interactive analysis of man-machine interface in virtual switch-in, its main purpose is to enable officers and soldiers to master the essentials of skiing during training, and flexibly face complex and dangerous mountain environments, thereby improving snow performance. Patrol efficiency and safety.

In the design practice, the author integrates technology and art, and combines device design with VR virtual reality. Through VR technology, skiers can experience the real operation of skiing in different environments, which is difficult to replicate in real training. It can provide real-time feedback based on the performance of the skier, such as speed, turning and technique, taking into account the practical scene experience and training essentials of skiing training, more humane and more efficient training of soldiers’ skiing skills, while experiencing the charm brought by technology . Finally, the author will design an interactive device, which will be convenient for users to train skiing, while considering safety, effectiveness, ease of use and portability, etc., to create a ski training device that meets the needs of all levels of skiers High quality training equipment. The equipment is also easy to transport and store, which can meet the needs of troops in different theaters for training equipment. At the same time, it is also conducive to the general public to understand ski training, making ski training science popularization more vivid and effective.
